Glorify God Among the Nations

As we approach the National Day of Prayer on May 7, 2026, we are invited to lift our voices not just for ourselves, but for the flourishing of all creation. This year’s theme, "Glorify God Among the Nations," reminds us that our faith transcends borders and our primary citizenship is in the Kingdom of God. Let this be a day of humble intercession for the common good.

Wisdom for Leaders: Not just our own, but for all who hold power, that they may seek "justice to roll on like a river" (Amos 5.24) and prioritize the vulnerable.

Peace and Reconciliation: In a world torn apart by conflict, we ask for the "unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace" (Ephesians 4.3).  

Global Neighbors: For those facing famine, displacement, and injustice, remembering that God "made from one man every nation of humankind" (Acts 17.26).  

Let our prayers be a reflection of Micah 6.8: “To do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

Let us pray for healing that restores every community and every nation! Amen.
